The criteria for how black a place has to bebefore it makes this list varies from city to city. In a midwestern town with practically no black people, the places where black people are most likely to go are listed. In cosmopolitan areas, where you can expect to find at least a few black people anywhere, we raise the dividing line a little before it makes this list. The stars after the name give some very general indication of what you can expect to find.

Trying to keep track of every black LGBT party place on the planet is a daunting task.
